Renowned as a restorer of remastered custom icons inspired by the Porsche 993 generation of the 911 from twenty-five years ago, Gunther Werks is set to open the company’s first East Coast showroom in partnership with Prestige Imports. Based in Miami and serving one of the global epicenters of exotic car collecting in the South Florida car market, the new Prestige Imports showroom news comes as Gunther Werks continues offering limited-edition restored and remastered Porsche 911 across the world.
With an expanding program of restorations, Gunther Werks recently unveiled the company’s new 750-hp Touring Turbo Edition Coupe restoration program based on the Porsche 993-generation classic. The new Gunther Werks Touring Turbo Edition Coupe restoration program features a 4.0-liter twin turbo flat-six engine with a six-speed manual transmission and impressive performance alongside an iconic ducktail rear spoiler inspired by iconic cars from the 70’s. Weighing in at a lightweight 2650 lbs., the new Gunther Werks restoration features extensive carbon fiber bodywork almost entirely throughout the high-performance vehicle.
In addition to the recently unveiled new Touring Edition Turbo Coupe restoration program, Gunther Werks has several other modern restorations available as limited editions including the company’s Turbo, Coupe, and Speedster program offerings. Vehicles remastered and restored with these Gunther Werks package offerings will be available for viewing at the company’s new Miami showroom location, where clients may commission their chosen Gunther Werks remaster and restoration package. The new Gunther Werks showroom in Miami is conveniently located within the main showroom headquarters of Prestige Imports. Founded by the David Family in 1977, Prestige Imports is largely responsible for shaping the vibrant South Florida exotic and luxury car landscape over the last 46 years.
With extensive experience operating in the South Florida exclusive exotic luxury vehicle industry, including in association with marques such as Pagani, Lamborghini, Lotus, and more, Prestige Imports will provide Gunther Werks with an established, successful showroom partner on the East Coast with a deep understanding of luxury transportation and operations in the region.
The new location and partnership will provide an entirely new immersive experience for Gunther Werks clients to explore and appreciate the company’s modern reinterpretation of Porsche’s classic analog masterpieces. Guests to the new Miami showroom can expect to be welcomed into the world of Gunther Werks and assisted in commissioning their very own creation from the company’s Turbo, Speedster, or Coupe restoration programs.
