1.5M SF Mixed-Use Development Sawyer’s Walk Delivers Target in Miami's Overtown

Sawyer’s Walk, the largest mixed-use development in the historic community of Overtown, recently opened its retail section, marked by the launch of a 50,000-square-foot Target store. Spec Home Developer Todd Michael Glaser Under Contract To Buy Jeffrey Epstein’s Former Palm Beach Mansion

Todd Michael Glaser plans to buy Jeffrey Epstein’s Palm Beach mansion and replace with a new home. The real-estate developer has signed a contract with Epstein’s estate to buy the waterfront property for an undisclosed price, but estimated to be lower than the original listing in July for $21.995 million. The 6-bedroom mansion is a famous location for Epstein committing sex-trafficking crimes and luring underage girls.

Miami Heat Star Udonis Haslem And Magellan Housing Score Approval To Build Wynwood Works On City Owned Land

A partnership between Haslem Housing Ventures, led by Miami Heat star Udonis Haslem, and the Coral Gables-based Magellan Housing, have received approval from Miami’s Omni Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) to build Wynwood Works, a 12-story mixed-use apartment project in Wynwood. Wynwood Works will be built on city owned land at 2035 North Miami Avenue.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has announced that the state will allocate $250 million in CARES Act funding to rental and mortgage assistance due to the COVID-19 pandemic shutdown. $120 million of the funds will be allocated to Florida Housing Finance Corp. which will provide rental assistance to households who live in affordable housing rentals within the Florida Housing Finance Corp. portfolio.
