Italian luxury brand Bulgari and Blue Horizon Group, led by Nabil Kobeissi, have revealed Bulgari Hotel Miami Beach. The hotel will be the brand’s first hotel in Miami and 11th location worldwide. The developer will renovate and restore the existing 7-story Seagull Hotel, located at 100 21st St., adjacent to The Setai Hotel & Residences and W South Beach.

Miami’s first underwater environmental public art project, to be known as ReefLine, is on track to open Phase 1 in December 2021. The project will be built in several phases with Phase 1 spanning one-mile long. The project is designed by OMA / shohei shigematsu in collaboration with a team of marine biologists, researches and coastal engineers whose goal is to protect and preserve the city’s marine life.

The City of Miami Beach has issued a request for letters of interest from developers to develop three city-owned lots on the north side of Lincoln Road. Miami Beach is seeking a developer to build class A office buildings with on-site parking garages via a public-private partnership with the city with the goal of creating a business district to help diversify Miami Beach’s economy which is heavily reliant on tourism and hospitality.

The Fontainebleau Miami Beach has revealed its proposed Nichols Brosch Wurst Wolfe-designed expansion across the street at 4360 Collins Ave, which is currently a surface parking lot. The buildings would be connected via a 90’-long pedestrian sky bridge that would cross West 44th Street.

Developer and luxury homebuilder Todd Glaser has plans to sell 1500 West 21st Street on Sunset Island IV for $9.9 million once complete in about three months. Andrea Mirmelli originally hired Glaser to build him a Miami Beach home. Mirmelli ended up selling the partially developed waterfront house to Glaser for $5.9 million.
